Corn Hill Arts Festival

I think Jen Born’s Corn Hill Poster should have been selected as the winner so I’m using it here instead of the one that did win, which is perfectly nice, but c’mon – this one rocks hard!

Heidi Kester Offers Three New Classes

Rochester Artisan Heidi Kester has announced three new classes. Ready to try something new or punch up your current skills?

Your can read about Heidi on her Woodland Wisp Jewelry Creations website. Be sure to check out her work with PMC especially. To me, that is her “claim to fame” – certainly my favorite of her work. Just gorgeous.

Be sure to click the Stonewood Art Studio button in the sidebar of her website to see the amazing sculpture work by Heidi’s husband, Patrick. I first met him when we both had pieces in the Threads exhibit at the High Falls Gallery. If you saw that exhibit you will definitely remember his sculptures out of box spring fiber!

I then met Heidi when she came to a Victor Art Walk event in which I was participating. I was lucky enough to be set up across from her at last November’s Holiday Bazaar at the Rochester Museum and Science Center. She’s just as nice as she is creative.
